“Home for the Holidays,” a live stage show featuring professional and community talent, is our 2012 gift to the Rhode Island communities. Directed and conceived by Artistic and Executive Director Richard Ericson , it’s a stocking-full of stories, songs and surprises: there’ll be goblins and angels, a Christmas barbershop quartet singing by the menorah, and a donkey who learns the truth about the Nativity. Lots of laughs and a few tears.
In the age-old tradition of stories told around the fire, Courthouse performers will spin seasonal tales and sing old music made new: we’ll warm ourselves at a hearth of traditional and popular Yuletide songs and stories as it snows and snows and snows. (We guarantee the snow!)
Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. For adults and children alike, anything is possible when you’re home, at the Courthouse, for the holidays.
“Home for the Holidays;” Saturday, December 22nd @ 4 & 7 PM and Sunday, December 23rd @ 4PM.
Admission is FREE, first come-first served.
